'Durulek' of Myagdi is becoming a destination for domestic tourists

Myagdi - Domestic tourist arrivals have increased after the construction of tourist infrastructure at Durulek, a tourist spot in Malika Gaonpalika -2 of West Myagdi. Durulek has become a tourist destination after the Gandaki state government and Malika village municipality constructed tourist infrastructures including footpaths, sattals and temples at a cost of Rs 3 million.

Domestic tourists from Baglung and Myagdi have started visiting the region. The influx of foreign tourists has also started increasing after the construction of tourist houses with an additional budget of Rs 1 million from the Gandaki state government.

Tourists come to Durelek to enjoy the dense forest of Laliguras, the view of dozens of mountains and Dadankada of the rural settlements of the district including Myagdi Baglung. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri and other mountains can be seen up close. Tourists who come to enjoy the natural scenery have been facilitated by the construction of footpath and Chautari from Durelek to Jhandi Dil. The cliff offering of whey has also attracted more tourists.
