The number of tourists visiting Nepal has started increasing as the transit rate of Corona has been declining.
According to the Department of Immigration, a total of 78,747 tourists have visited Nepal in the three months (January, February and March) since the beginning of 2022.
According to the department, 69,328 tourists returned to Nepal during the same period. This figure is only for tourists entering Nepal through Tribhuvan International Airport.
According to the statistics of the department, a total of 148,075 tourists have visited Nepal in the last three months. In March alone, 76,042 tourists visited Nepal. Of these, 42,006 had come to Nepal and 34,036 had returned home from Nepal.
